Participation and Registration

• Participation in the symposium is free of charge. Catering (including lunches, coffee breaks, and a networking dinner on Monday 23 November) will be provided. However, registration is mandatory for logistical and administrative reasons.

• Please note that travel and accommodation expenses are at the participant’s own cost.

  • It is possible to book a room at the symposium venue (Speke Resort Munyonyo) at a discounted rate. If you wish to do so, please indicate this in your registration.

  • Regarding travel documents, please check the visa procedures applicable to enter Uganda from your country of residence. It might be required to obtain an online e-Visa and Visa approval letter before traveling to Uganda.

  • Also be aware a valid Yellow Fever vaccination proof is required. 

• Please note that this registration form is only for in-person attendance. Practical information on virtual participation will follow.

• You will receive an automatic email confirmation after finishing your registration. If you have any questions regarding your registration, please contact us via e-mail or through the contact form.

Terms and Conditions

By registering, you confirm that you have read and accepted the following terms and conditions:

• By confirming your participation in the symposium, you agree to inform the organising committee as soon as possible and no later than 23 October 2026 if you are unable to attend. This will allow us to offer your place to another participant, as the symposium has a limited number of places available.

• By registering, you consent to the use of photos or videos taken during the State-of-the-art Mpox Symposium in which you may appear, for various project communication and dissemination purposes.

• Veuillez noter que les frais de voyage et d’hébergement sont à la charge des participants.

  • Il est possible de réserver une chambre sur le lieu du colloque (Speke Resort Munyonyo) à un tarif préférentiel. Si vous souhaitez en bénéficier, veuillez l’indiquer lors de votre inscription.

  • En ce qui concerne les documents de voyage, veuillez vérifier les formalités de visa applicables pour entrer en Ouganda depuis votre pays de résidence. Il peut être nécessaire d’obtenir un e-Visa en ligne ainsi qu’une lettre d’approbation de visa avant de vous rendre en Ouganda.

  • Sachez également qu’un certificat de vaccination contre la fièvre jaune en cours de validité est exigé.

• Veuillez noter que ce formulaire d'inscription est réservé à la participation en présentiel. Des informations pratiques concernant la participation à distance suivront.

Conditions générales

En vous inscrivant, vous confirmez avoir lu et accepté les conditions générales suivantes:

• En confirmant votre participation au symposium, vous vous engagez à informer le comité d’organisation dès que possible et au plus tard le 23 octobre 2026 si vous n’êtes pas en mesure d’y participer. Cela nous permettra de proposer votre place à un autre participant, le nombre de places disponibles pour le symposium étant limité.

• En vous inscrivant, vous consentez à l’utilisation des photos ou vidéos prises lors du symposium « State-of-the-art Mpox » sur lesquelles vous pourriez apparaître, à des fins de communication et de diffusion du projet.

Additional remarks:

• Please note that the delivery of your official invitation letter may take several days. Keep the visa application processing times in your country in mind — the later you register, the higher the chance you may need to apply for an expedited (and more costly) visa procedure.
